The Western Basketball Officiating Body (WeBOB) is an arm of  Basketball Jamaica and a branch of Jamaica Association of Basketball Officials (JABO). They make regional wide rulings and selections for regional tournaments and are responsible for the growth, organization, and development of Western Jamaica's basketball officials and, in partnership with Basketball Jamaica, offer a number of programs and services beneficial to basketball officiating in Jamaica's western region. Funds are obtained from membership fees and voluntary contributions.
 

• By conducting local and regional clinics to standardize rule interpretations and mechanics.
• By providing and supervising written exams for the membership.
• By providing members an occasion to be evaluated.
• By maintaining a file of evaluations for local, regional and national assignments.
• By encouraging officials to join the association.
• By maintaining a membership with the Jamaica Association of Basketball Officials (JABO).
