  WBA/Insports Mini b-ball starts today

MONTEGO BAY, St James - Six games will be played today as the Western Basketball Association/ INSPORT mini basketball league gets underway at the Montego Bay Cricket Club, starting at 10am.

Twelve teams led by rally winners Corinaldi Avenue Primary-A will compete.

The teams have been divided in to two zones with the top two teams advancing to the semi-finals.

Corinaldi Avenue A will lead Zone A which will include Barracks Road Primary A, John Rollins Success Primary B, Salters Hill, Cornwall Prep and Haughton's Academy.

In Zone B there will be John Rollins Success-A, Barracks Road B, Chetwood, Catherine Hall, Hemmingay Prep and Corinaldi Avenue B.

In the rally played last week at the Cricket Club, Corinaldi Avenue A beat Salters Hill 6-2 in the final to lift the first title of the season.

In the semi-final Corinaldi A beat Corinaldi B 3-2 while Salters Hill beat Barracks Road B 4-1.

Carla Lee Tingling of Corinaldi Avenue A was named the rally MVP.
