  Seton Hall Slips By Louisville

(By Michael Clevenger, The Courier-Journal) March 20, 2009Newark, NJ (01-22-2009): Seton Hall University held off a late rally from University of Louisville to deny the Cardinals their 1,600th win in school history last night in a Big East Conference showdown.

Sophomore center Samardo Samuels was held to nine points and six rebounds as Seton Hall held on to hand Louisville its third loss in a row, the longest such streak since the 2005-06 season. The defeat dropped the once nationally-ranked Cardinals to 12-7 overall and 3-3 in the Big East.

Things will get no easier as they return home to face University of Cincinnati on Sunday at noon.
