Another Star Search Camper Gets Scholarship

MIAMI, FL - Nicholas Venson of Penwood High School has been awarded a full basketball scholarship to Genesis One Christian Academy in Mendenhall, Mississippi. The 6' 9", 215-pound center will leave the island shortly to begin classes.
 

Venson attended the Jamaica Basketball Development (JBD), Inc/Jamaica Basketball Association (JABA)-sponsored Star Search Basketball & Life Skills Development Camp in July and is the fourth student/athlete to receive a scholarship since the conclusion of the camp.
