Samuels Treat Future University of Louisville Fans

Samardo Samuels, making his first appearance in front of his future University of Louisville fans, gave them a sneak preview of what to expect next season. Before 2,500 fans at Louisville Gardens, the 6’ 9” Samuels had 26 points and 15 rebounds, including 10 for 10 from the free-throw line, to pace St. Benedict's Prep over Cincinnati Princeton High 56-48 last night.

St. Benedict's (22-1) ranked No. 3 in the USA Today poll, had to rally from a first-half deficit, but Samuels scored his team's first six points and had six points to seal it in the final 1:39, including a fierce dunk.
