Walters helps Northwood open season with a bang West
Palm Beach, FLA. - Courtney Walters formerly
of Men's Basketball Championship club Innercity
Avalanche, help to guide the #21 ranked Northwood
University Seahawks to a 109-34 win over Crown College from Tennessee.
Walters played 22 minutes and scored 14 points, while
grabbing 12 boards and a steal. Five other players were
in double
figures for the Seahwaks, Lester Hunte and Thierno Agne
led the team with 15 points each, Patrick Horstmann and
Noah Keeton each added 12 points, and Jay Duncan
added 11.
Each member of the team scored in the night's game.
Freshman Tyrone Davis had a spectacular first
game with 13 assists, 4 steals, and 6 total points for
the Seahawks.
The Seahawks will be back in action Friday,
November 20th at home as they take on the Madonna
University Crusaders from Michigan at 7:00pm.
