The WBA and the Jamaica Beverages Limited has partnered yet again to sponsor the Men's Division 2 Basketball League through their Oasis Purified Water brand which is set to start this Sunday, May 20th, 2007 at the Montego Bay Cricket Club court. A lot is in store for this the development league of the WBA, which shows much promise as new teams are in eager anticipation to show their talent.

This season competition will begin with two matches, in the first game last season's semi-finalist Granville Jaguars will face Jnr. Avalanche at 4pm. The second game will see the Boy's Club Warriors going to battle with Trelawny new-comers Martha Brae Lakers at 6pm.

The 65 games format will be similar to last season's where all eleven (11) teams will play each other once and the top 4 teams with the best records will contest a single elimination semi final. The winners from the semi-final will advance to contest the Grand Final for the Oasis Purified Water trophy and promotion to the Men's Basketball Championship (D1) league.
