NBL Playoffs schedule now set MONTEGO BAY, St James - Its now confirmed that Hoopers
who recently crowned themselves
champions of the Western Conference of the 2009
National Basketball League powered by FLOW will travel
to St. Elizabeth on Saturday, November 28 to face
Manchester Pythons in Game One of their home and away
quarterfinal series. Hoopers will next entertain the
Pythons in Montego Bay for Game Two the following day at
the Montego Bay Cricket Club Multipurpose court. The
team to win both game advances or should the series be
split, then a goal difference aggregate system will be
used to determine the winner of the series.
The Jamaica Basketball Association is pleased to
announce the top five teams for the Southern Conference
National Playoffs. The teams have been decided based on
their points standings in the preliminary round of the
NBL powered by FLOW and will now move on to the National
Playoffs set to tip off on Saturday. November 28, 2009.
The ranked Southern teams are:
#1 Urban Knights
#2 Tivoli Wizards
#3 St. Georges Slayers
#4 Majesty Gardens Legends
#5 Jamaica Defence Force
