Name Your Team Competition -

Input from the Western Jamaica community was an important factor
in the development of the new team’s identity. The process tipped off at the
Lucozade Dream Gold Promotion Launch, which netted over 100 team name
suggestions in the “Name Your Team” effort.
The WBA announced seven nickname finalists last week – WBA Dynamo, WBA Elite,
WBA Islanders, WBA Waves, WBA Westerners, WBA Wolverines and WBA Wonders.
