Knights make easy pickings of the Spartans

City Knights 70 Marchtown Spartans 45
Omroy Kerr notched a game-high 23 points, 7 rebounds and seven steals to help the City Knights cruise to a 70-45 win over the Marchtown Spartans on Friday night. Jhuan Bryan was next with a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds. He also secured 4 steals and 3 blocks, with Jamoy Richards contributing 11 points, 4 dimes and four steals.

By halftime Knights held a commanding 40-13 lead, but an inspired Marchtown Spartans unit fought back 17-16 and 15-14 in the third and fourth quarters respectively, but just could not dent the massive lead they were up against.

Royal Ferguson marked a career-high with a 22 points and 16 rebounds double-double for the Spartans. Garfield Johnson rounded out the players in double digits with 10 points, 7 rebounds and seven steals in their best effort of trying to topple the current Men's Basketball League leaders.
