  Tigers' Holness Suspended

Railways Tigers forward Caustant Holness has been suspended a game by the Western Basketball Association for using profanity after his team's first game of the season against Granville Wolfpack on March 29, 2009.

The complaint, supported by two witnesses, referred to a breach of the WBA Rules & Governance and alleged Holness had committed the violation; prior to the game he made remarks to members of the Executive deemed disrespectful.

The suspension allowed Holness inside the playing venue, but not on the Tigers bench for their match against Central Flames on Saturday, April 4th. Should he breach any other statute of the Rules & Governance he will not continue the remainder of the season.
