The Jamaica Basketball Association announces the Powering Up of the 2009 JPSco sponsored all island Basketball Parish league which will commence on Sunday 26th April with an opening ceremony at the Edgewater Basketball Court at 3:00pm.

Sixteen (16) teams will be playing in this competition one representing each parish with two each from St. Andrew and St. James respectively, games will be played all across the island every weekend at various venues.

Two games will be played on the opening day, at 4pm Sea view Flames of St. Andrew will play Meadows All Stars of St Catherine and then at 6pm Eastern Pistons of Kingston will play team Morant Bay of St. Thomas.
