ISSA/KFC HIGH
SCHOOLS BASKETBALL RESUMES
The 2007–2008 season of the KFC/ISSA
BASKETBALL COMPETITION is set to tip-off this Friday
(Nov 21) at the National Stadium Court. Over 111 teams
are registered to participate in this Under-19 and
Under- 16 categories of competition.
Once again fast food giants KFC
has stepped forward as the main title sponsor along with
globally recognized drink company PEPSI as an associate
sponsor.
The competition will
commence at 12:30 pm with an opening under-16 game
between defending champion Ardenne High and St Catherine
High, followed at 2:00 pm by the Official Opening
Ceremony and Uniform parade with representative from all
participating schools.
A slam dunk and
3-point shooting contest will follow at 3:00 pm before the
feature under-19 match-up between defending Southern
Conference champion St. Jago High and Calabar High at
3:30 pm.
