  H'Morrison meet Spot Valley in U-19 b-ball battle today

(Photo: Garfield Robinson) MONTEGO BAY, St James - Early semi-finalists Herbert Morrison High could return to the top of the point's tables in the Under-19 section of the ISSA/KFC Western Conference high schools basketball championships today when they take on Spot Valley High in Bogue.

Herbert Morrison High has won all seven games played so far and are tied at the top of the standings on 14 points with defending champions Cornwall College.

In the first game of the double header today, Herbert Morrison will host Rhodes Hall High in an Under- 16 game, starting at 2:00 pm.

With 12 points, Herbert Morrison is in third place in the Under-16 section behind leaders William Knibb who have15 points and unbeaten, defending champions Cornwall College who have 14.

Rhodes Hall is on five points from three games; two wins and a loss.

Herbert Morrison will however start favorites to improve their record in the Under-19 section to eight straight wins when they take on winless Spot Valley High.

Meanwhile William Knibb won two crucial games on Tuesday, beating Muschett High in an all-Trelawny clash in Martha Brae.

William Knibb avenged a one-point loss in the Under-19 section with a two-point margin 60-58 on Tuesday and won the Under -6 game 63-44.

Tomorrow, Muschett and Mannings will meet in two games in Wakefield.
