Hoopers Stop Avalanche in Mid Season Finals

Hoopers proved that they were more hungrier for a title even if it was just the Mid Season finals title. They used the final two quarters of their exciting encounter against arch-rivals Innercity Avalanche to win 87-83. Omar Bell followed up his earlier Hoopla performance with a gutsy 25 points, hitting 4 out of six 3 pointers to help guide his team to victory. He was aptly supported by Ryan 'Tim" Harrison with a season best performance of 15 points and 10 boards, while captain Andrae Morgan contributed 15 of his own.

Avalanche played well despite the loss, but gave up just a few easy baskets down the stretch. Turnovers proved also to be their achilles heel, nonetheless, Adolph Erskine continued his consistent scoring streak with a game high 36 points, Cleon Morgan and O'Neil Clarke added eighteen and twelve points respectively. Clarke was a beast on the defensive end with 3 block shots.
