GLENDEVON SNIPERS CHANGES NAME

 The Glendevon Snipers have decided to change their name to the "Bay City Lions" with the decision to disengage themselves from the notion of 'guns' in which the name Snipers often relates to.

Management and players alike chose this stance since a number of players use the sport of basketball as a means to escape the lure of crime.

The Bay City Lions logo will feature a lion with the impression of a basketball surrounding it. The team will don their current colors of green and orange when the WBA Division 1 season begins.
