Lady Knights decapitate Pacers 71-11 Shadian
Hemmings scored the most points by a player this
season in the Western Basketball Association's Female
League (FBL) yesterday. She scored a game-high 36 points
to lead the Naldi Lady Knights to a 60-point victory
over the Mobay Pacers. Rita Spence and Alicia
Dawkins accounted for 9 and 8 points respectively.
The Pacers was led by Danielle Ellis’
insignificant 7 points and 8 rebounds. With no other
player doing much, this allowed the Lady Knights to
dominate in all categories.
From the get go Lady Knights won the first term 9-5,
only to turn up their arsenal in the following three
terms 20-1, 25-3 and 17-2, Pacers had no chance. This
win separated these two teams who were tied for fourth,
now Lady Knights sits in third, behind second-placed
Lady Avalanche and the still undefeated Unique Ballers.
