Unique Ballers zip past Naldi Knights
 THE
St. James based Naldi Lady Knights welcomed the Trelawny
based Unique Ballers to the Mobay Cricket Club court on
Tuesday, keen to score a victory in the first match of
the season in Western Basketball Association's FBL
action.
But it was Ballers’ thirst for the ball and their
ability to snag a higher percentage of the boards which
helped them turn the tables handing them victory.
Ballers won all quarters 13-6, 18-9, 10-6 and 6-5.
Their assault was led by Zandria Bell who hit a
game-high 16 points, pulled in 16 boards. She was aided
by Tracy-Ann Kelly, who showed form to post 9
points, Kashia Brown chipping in with 6 points
and nine boards to the tally.
For the Lady Knights it was last year's regular season
MVP Shadian Hemmings and Allisa Dawkins
who showed top form, hitting 10 points apiece.
