Reach Presents: "Game Plan" Seminar
 The Western
Basketball Association embraces the opportunity to mentor
local youth through participation in various outreach
activities and be a force for good works. That side the WBA
has teamed up with the Caribbean Sports Reach whose mission
is: "Transforming Communities with God's Love Through
Sports" will be hosting a mentorship seminar entitled
GAME PLAN.
'Game Plan' seeks to build character in athletes and
team members. The seminar will be held in three locations
across the island between July 7-10, 2008. 'Game Plan'
aims to explore the principles and issues affecting the
character and performance of persons involved in all kind of
sports - not only basketball.
 All are invited to benefit from the presentations on the day
delivered by the visiting guest Roger Lipe. Mr. Lipe
is the Southern Illinois Representative for the Fellowship
of Christian Athletes. He is also an author and sports
chaplain for many years. Percival Palmer will be one
of the local presenters, he is the Lead Facilitator at the
Caribbean Sports Reach and chaplain with various national
athletic bodies since 1999 i.e. Jamaica Basketball
Association.
Contribution to the seminar is $2,500.00 - this covers
workshop materials and refreshments for the day. 'Game
Plan' will begin at 9:00 am each morning and end at
approximately 5:00 pm. The seminar is opened to all sporting
enthusiasts.
