NDC in Three-way Tie for Conference Lead
 

South Euclid, OH (2-21-2008) – A fired-up Notre Dame College (NDC) defeated Malone College 81-64 last night to pull into a three-way tie for first place in the American Mideast Conference (AMC) North Division. NDC, 13-14 overall and 6-3 in AMC, led by as many as 35 points in the second half  before cruising home for their third straight victory. Sophomore center Karim McFarlane produced 14 points and 12 rebounds for his 12th double-double of the season and fifth in a row.

The University of Rhode Island (URI) will face the University of Massachusetts (Umass) tonight on ESPN2 beginning at 7:00 p.m. EST. URI features junior center Jason Francis, formerly of Old Harbour High and Cumberland All Stars in the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)/National Basketball League (NBL). This will be the 130th all-time meeting between both schools.


 


McDonald's All-American Rosters Announced
 

Miami, FL (2-21-2008) – Forward Samardo Samuels of St. Benedict's Prep and combo guard Tyreke Evans of American Christian High, rated the No. 1 and No. 2 basketball players respectively, in the Class of 2008, were named to the East team for the 31st annual McDonald’s All-American game to be played at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 26 at 9:30 p.m. EST on ESPN.
