Alliman off to a sizzling start
Ricardo Alliman Miami, FL
(11-13-2009)
– Senior forward Ricardo Alliman picked up where
he left off last season by producing two scintillating
performances to start the 2009-10 season for Cedarville
University.
Playing in the Rio Grande Classic, Alliman exploded for
a career-high 36 points against 14th-ranked Cumberlands
University, but Cedarville rally fell short as they went
down 90-85. Alliman, however, shot 11-of-15 from the
field and 14-of-17 from the free throw line to establish
his new career-high.
He returned the following night and to help No.15
Cedarville romp over University of Rio Grande 157-91 in
the final game of the classic. The 6' 7" swingman this
time was perfect from both the field and the free throw
line going 9-of-9 and 5-of-5 respectively for 23 points.
This game was record-setting on many fronts for
Cedarville as the 157 points erased the previous school
single-game record for points scored, as well as
established new marks for most points scored in a half
(83), field goals made (59), three-pointers made (20),
and assists (38).
