Canton, OH (3-5-2008) – Cedarville University secured an automatic berth to next week's NAIA Division II National Tournament when, thanks to a dramatic last second shot, they upset No. 1 seed Malone College 84-83 last night in the championship game of the American Mideast Conference (AMC). Cedarville is making its fifth trip in the last six years to the tournament and is presently ranked No. 18. Sophomore forward, Ricardo Alliman, formerly of Calabar High, continued his fine season and delivered 10 points and a game-high 10 rebounds while his colleague, Christopher Walker, also scored 10 points.
