Mitchell paces Liberty Christian over Virginia Episcopal

Mitchell finished with 16 points, seven rebounds and
four steals to guide Liberty Christian Academy to an
impressive 57-44 triumph over cross-town rivals visiting
Virginia Episcopal School over the weekend in a Blue
Ridge Conference (BRC) game. The 5' 9" point guard was
also used as a defensive stopper throughout the night as
Liberty Christian cruised to 19-1 and remained unbeaten
in the BRC at 6-0.
Cedarville edge Ohio Dominican
Columbus, OH (2-4-2008) The Jamaica trio of
Christopher Walker, Ricardo Alliman, and
Daniel Rose were at it again over the weekend as
they combined for 39 points, 18 rebounds and seven
assists to pace Cedarville University to an exciting
82-80 victory over Ohio Dominican University last night
in an American Mideast Conference (AMC) South Division
encounter. After 11 ties, Cedarville held the hosts
without a field goal for the last 5:45 of the game
contest to improve to 15-6 and overall and 5-3 AMC.
Cumberland University demolish Blue Mountain
Lebanon, TN (2-4-2008) Rodney James would
not be left out as he scored 12 points in Cumberland
University's 101-62 blowout of Blue Mountain College
last night. NAIA #16 Cumberland is now 14-6 on the
season and 8-3 in TranSouth Conference play.
