BURGER KING 2007
INTERCOLLEGIATE OPEN LEAGUE
Over the past weeks most outdoor scheduled games in the
Burger King Intercollegiate Basketball Competition were not played
because of rain.
In the Open division which consists of four teams,
Browns Town Community on 8 points is taking no prisoners
in their undefeated run at the top of the tables. They
are however hard pressed by the Knox Community College
and Caribbean Maritime Institute who have lost 2 games.
Montego Bay Community College (Mobay Com C) straddles
the bottom without a win.
Some 4 games remain to be played before the finalists can be declared.
Moreover,
with the injection of
funds from new sponsor Burger King and top NBL players
leading the charge, the stage is now set for an exciting
competition as teams and players contest for the
attractive prizes and incentives in store.
