Bulls rough up All Stars
Catherine Hall All Stars that
hosted Port Royal Bulls on Sunday at the Montego Bay
Cricket Club court were totally devastated in the
encounter with the Bulls playing fluently from the first
whistle of the JABA/KFC National Basketball League.
In each quarter they scored and rebounded at will
against a Catherine Hall team that was terrible at the
rim and even worse at rebounding. The All Stars team was
also awful from the free throw line, Neville Christie
was the
highest scorer for All Stars with 16 points and 4
rebounds while Goyan Malcolm supported with 13
points and 6 rebounds and Dave Black also scored
13 points.
Leighton Meeks was most outstanding before he
fouled out of the game scoring 22 points 9 rebounds and
5 assists for the Port Royal Bulls but it was Damien
Young with a game high 31 points 17 rebounds 2
steals and 3 blocks along with Kede Guyah 10
points 9 rebounds and Davian Wade 11 points 5
assists and 8 steals who all contributed with their good
ball handling skills while their off the ball movement
they were not easily picked out by their opponents and
it made life a lot easier while the All Stars looked
jaded and worn out as though they were woefully
overworked the visitors won the game 98-44 and should be
very happy they made light work of their opponents.
