All-Stars Fluttered in NBL Opener

Photo: Levaughn FlynnA new incentive game was launched on Sunday, June 1 where two promoted teams vied for the President's Trophy. Port Royal Bulls who gained promotion to the NBL this season turn back our hometown heroes Catherine Hall All-Stars, 66-50 at the National Stadium courts.

All-Stars' forward Jermaine Rerrie led with 14 points and 14 rebounds, followed by guard Dave Black with 12 points and seven rebounds. Goyan Malcolm round out the scoring with an 8 points , 9 rebounds 4 assists and 4 steals performance.

Damion Young
of Port Royal Bull's was the night's leading top-scorer with 15 points and 15 rebounds. He was supported by Kenardo Wright, who posted 11 points and seven boards.

All roads should lead to the Montego Bay Cricket Club this Sunday as All-Stars host Runnin' Rebels at 4pm.
