Catherine Hall All-Stars' NBL Voyage Begins Today
NBL
newcomers and the 2007 Western Basketball
Association's Men's Basketball Champions Catherine
Hall All-stars and Port Royal Bulls - last season's
Southern Conference Division One Champions will square-off for the new
President trophy, a new initiative for the promoted
teams as the opening day of the 2008 KFC National
Basketball League takes place this evening at the
Edgewater Sports Complex this afternoon at 4:30.

Catherine Hall, led by wily guard Goyan Malcolm
and centre Jermaine Dillon. Player/coach
Radcliffe Rhynie said his team will be trying to
be the first WBA team to stay above relegation -
since most promoted teams only manage to do a one
year tenure in the national league.
Catherine Hall will be banking on the experience of
Malcolm who previously played for Runnin' Rebels;
Dave Black and Jermaine Rerrie who played in
the NBL with Norwood Storms in 2006.
This season's winners will take home $150,000,
second place will get $100,000, third-place $50,000
and fourth $30,000.
